Merfolk Reiki

The ability and ease with which healing energy can be transmitted through a medium such as the Internet never fails to amaze me. Proving that distance never proves a barrier when healing or sending attunements to someone.

I offer attunements to the healing systems I myself use, as well as certain empowerments I am attuned to. When a person is attuned to a particular system, for example healing, such as Reiki. That person is able to pass the link to that energy onto others. This in essence is attunement. It is like a radio station. If we take a radio it can receive any number of stations, but only if it is able to be tuned in and locked onto one station at a time. Universal energies are like stations, they are all streaming in their own energetic vibrational frequencies and each has to be isolated. It is very like downloading software from the internet. You not only need the computer, but also the website and the software would have to have been uploaded in the first place. Where attunements are concerned, first you need someone attuned to that particular system and then they need to make access to it available to you in order to pass it on.

Distance attunement works in the same way as distance healing. Energy is free flowing and understands no boundaries and limits; it is as easy to send energy over a distance as it is close at hand. I have worked over the internet for many years and in my personal experience have found distance work just as powerful and effective as in person. The energy I use is universal and comes not from inside me, but rather flows through me from the source.

Distance attunements are perfect for those who cannot reach teachers and masters in the physical, but who have access to the online world. They are equally good for those in communities, or social groups where this kind of energy work is not easily understood, or tolerated.

As I live by the sea I am in touch with this beautiful energy close at hand. I have personally felt their presence and have seen them clairvoyantly. Although they do appear in our physical world from time to time it is from my experience, that along with other Fey energies they mostly remain in their own dimensions. At times of extreme weather shifts their presence can be felt and seen more strongly, especially when it is very stormy or foggy their world and ours become a little closer. I have been very fortunate and glimpsed one physically once while out on a boat trip.

Merfolk are sentient creatures whose upper bodies appear like those of an elven maiden and are pale green or blue in colour. Below the waist, they have a strong fish tail. They are humanoid above the waist, merging into a strong fish-tail below. Their hair comes in a wide range of naturally occurring oceanic colours. Merfolk are said to come in male (mermen), female (mermaids) and neuter genders (mer), although only the females usually appear in public; that is above water, in front of other races.
